Silent Hill: Book of Memories to be supported by DLC, new Downpour details

In an interview with Das Reviews, producer behind Silent Hill: Downpour, Devin Shastky stated a few interesting tidbits that we have not heard before. When probed about possible DLC for Downpour, Devin states that DLC will exist with the Silent Hill series, but with the PSV title, Book of Memories.

Also mentioned is that Silent Hill: Downpour is currently running at 60FPS. Not many people will care about that, but I like my games buttery smooth, especially horror. Lastly, I can’t be sure, but a mention of a post-Halloween release seems to be teased. We’ll just have to wait and see.

[Thanks Dave]

I think it would’ve been a lot more interesting if Devin would have been interviewed by a person who has played the games. Seriously, the questions couldn’t have been more indirect than that. And most of them have already been answered days and weeks ago. The only interesting question was the one about the DLC. Anyway, Devin was as cool as always.

60fps for a console game sound to good to be true

That is great news about the next Silent Hill game, and what is to be an actual rare DLC companion, probably a first for the series. It sounds like a lot of work is getting put into this new Vita title!

So, CJ… I wanted to ask you: Will Hell Descent be getting closed soon now that you are on working on updating for Rely on Horror?
