  • I want an update where I can use alternate outfits for the campaign. Playing as pirate Leon would be the tits.

    • tigerspaw

So unusual! I think this might be the first numbered RE game where you don’t automatically have costume selection by completing the game :O

guess it’ll come later via another update

    • eledhrim

Talking of tits, I want to play in Helena’s slutty-cop costume!

    • Yeah me too

      • sas_the_virtuous

I guess not. I think the cutscenes are pre-recorded and not real-time. so that would mean that one could only see the outfits during actual gameplay and not in the cutscenes, sth they did in the wii/ps2 version of the game with Leon’s mafia outfit:/

        • actually it is real time there’s some modder who made leon wear his re1 skin it also showed in the cutscene

  • QTE assist? Haha, that is so awesome! Now you can actually enjoy a game with ‘cutscenes’ .

  • I wish the camera settings were available in game and not just in the main menu.

    • Same.

What is the best camera setting to modify to in the main menu in your opinion?

      • I haven’t messed with it that much, yet.

        • sas_the_virtuous

I spent quite some time adjusting the options and for me it’s best if the first two bars are set to the same value (eg. default camera view + aiming view both set to 8), otherwise there is a slight jerk as the camera switches between ‘normal’ and ‘aiming’ positions. I also don’t make any changes to the third option as setting the number too high makes my character disappear off screen when aiming certain guns and I can only see half of the shotgun barrel for example.

      • I maxed out the FOV on both options and it looks really good that way to me, more on the order of RE4/5.

The over-long chapters were my only faults with the game, as replayability took a hit. It sucked having to go through the slow-crawl of the campus (“LIIIIIZ!”) and the subway section JUST to play in the manic Tall Oaks street part.

I can’t wait for the DLC tomorrow and I’ll be starting my No Hope playthrough with a mate later tonight. It’s gonna’ be fun.

Anyone know if you can play without Ada’s partner once you get the update? I don’t want that guy in her scenario haha

    • just start the game without waiting for someone to join

    • Just tried it out after just finishing her campaign on solo (and refusing to download the patch as I was half way through episode 4).

Seems to play as a solo campaign if you don’t have a partner join before you start, despite showing 2 people on the scenario selection screen.

Good to see, was worried I’d have to play through the game with a useless AI even if I didn’t want to.

Of course it’s going to be free. This isn’t so much extra DLC as it is them addressing the problems that came with the game like the camera, QTE and chapter pacing. It’s nice that they are fixing these problems, but it’s a given that this would be free because if you had to pay then it would make Capcom look more scummy.

  • ariessiren

yay now i can actually see the environment more!!!

  • How about an update which gives the agent the ability to open doors? lol

  • Henrikm

Had also hoped for som new outfits.
Seeing how some outfits was datamined, that is not included ingame or downloadable from psn or like Sherry in her patient outfit as an exampe.
I hope too see some soon.

Also would be interesting to play co-op with Agent in Ada Camp.

Have they changed so Ada and “The Agent” has som dialouge between them or is he the “silent” type almost how Sheva almost was all the time,as she was rarley aknowledget by example Wesker etc as he always seemed to adress Chris only.
