Blizzard may release Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls DLC on consoles

In a sly comment that really left no one surprised, Blizzard’s Josh Mosqueira talked to Polygon concerning the up-and-coming expansion for Diablo 3‘s PC release, and commented that, while their “philosophy has always been we work on one project at a time”, “We’ve got Diablo 3 on PC, we released it and then a small team splintered off to work on Diablo for the current consoles. Now the team’s really focused on Reaper of Souls for PC. So if you look at the past, you can probably infer what the future might bring.” He also added that “We don’t have any announcements at this point”.

Diablo 3‘s console port is Blizzard’s first (finished, in theory) console release since StarCraft 64, since StarCraft: Ghost was sadly shelved (although it looked awesome! I even got to play it once), and it comes as no surprise that Blizzard would wish to re;ease the DLC for the console port. Diablo 3 for Xbox 360 and PS3 will release in two weeks time.

It did, which is why I used the word since. Diablo released on PS1 in 1998, while StarCraft64 released in 2000.

Diablo on PSX had something more than pc version: two peple could play together (my girlfriend still plays Diablo onPSX :D)

And StarCraft64 came with unplayable 4-player split screen. Seriously, An SCV alone took up almost the entire 1/4th you got to play with, let alone the command menu.
