Zoochosis Launches on PlayStation 4 and 5 on August 25

Indie dev studio Clapperheads has announced the release date for the PS4 and PS5 versions of Zoochosis, a chilling survival horror game set in a zoo. It will be available on Sony consoles starting August 25.

On the same day, the PC version—available on Steam since last September—will also arrive on the Epic Games Store and receive a major update with significant gameplay improvements. The release date and new content were revealed along with a trailer, which you can watch below.

Zoochosis Coming to PlayStation ConsolesZoochosis is a first-person survival horror with a bodycam-style view. The game puts players in the shoes of a zookeeper on their first shift at a zoo. As you might guess, things won’t go smoothly: due to a mysterious parasite, animals can transform into “grotesque” versions of themselves, blood-thirsty and ready to do anything to kill you to escape

As the Night Zookeeper, you’ll interact closely with the animals—feeding them, preparing their meals, restocking supplies, and cleaning their enclosures. But something is terribly wrong, and you’ll need to uncover the source of the infection, develop a vaccine, and cure the animals before it’s too late.

Your choices will shape the outcome: which animals you save, how you treat them, and the risks you take will all affect your survival and the story’s ending.
