Wasabi Is A New Japanese Psycho-Thriller That Features Multiple Endings

Wasabi

Wasabi has just been announced as a Japanese psycho-thriller by developer Phoenix Game Productions. The team has also released an announcement trailer for the title, though a release date has yet to be revealed.

The game is set in Azumino, Nagano, Japan, during the 1990s, with players taking on the role of detective Ryuhei Kuroshima as he investigates a series of murders in a rural town. What initially appears to be a routine criminal case soon turns into something much darker, involving supernatural forces and a mysterious cult.

Wasabi

The title focuses on investigation, and requires players to closely examine crime scenes, uncover key evidence, and piece together the truth behind the murders. Wasabi also features multiple endings, with outcomes shaped by players’ choices throughout its roughly 10-hour playtime, which is impressive for an indie title.
