Bethesda has just opened up a poll today for an alternate cover to The Evil Within, their upcoming survival horror game that I really hope rocks. Three alternate covers are available to vote for on Bethesda’s blog: Asylum (seen above), Piercing Eye, and Twisted. The winner will be printed onto the back of the boxart insert to be used as an alternate cover.
Personally, I voted for Asylum (the current winning vote). It’s minimalistic, and it is the only alt-cover art that extends to the back of the box. I’m glad we’re being given an alternate boxart design; the default design is kinda tacky and derivative of shlock gore-fest films like SAW.
