The Bagman is an upcoming 16-bit point-and-click survival horror game developed by indie studio BadTasty. The game features stealth elements, commandable NPCS, and an extreme amount of slasher gore. Time and events progress continually, meaning that any of your friends can die at any moment. Players can explore multiple paths throughout the game and experience various endings.
Story
For Eloise, it was supposed to be a normal babysitting job – free pizza, a sleeping baby, and a few friends sneaking in to keep her company through the night. However, what unfolded that evening would shock and horrify her. The baby wasn’t the only one asleep; something much older refused to rest.
Regarding their goals for the game, the developer said:
Growing up I always wanted more horror games to play on the megadrive. I saw The Clock tower for the SNES and wanted an experience like that on the Megadrive, PC and other consoles. Crafting the game for retro hardware has led to a really beautiful 16-bit pixel asthetic that we have leaned into.
