SOMA now has an official release date for the Nintendo Switch, revealed through a new trailer released by Abylight Studios and Frictional Games.
This excellent horror adventure will be available on the Nintendo Switch on July 24, 2025. The release is just around the corner and will offer the same original experience, but has been adapted to work well on the hybrid console. It will also be compatible with the Nintendo Switch 2.

This release of SOMA is the same that was released on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, but has now been adapted for the Nintendo Switch. From what we can see, it looks promising in terms of technical performance, though we’ll have to wait until the final version to experience it fully.
In SOMA, we explore PATHOS-II, a desolate underwater research facility where the lines between human and machine blur. As you explore the eerie, submerged corridors under the Atlantic Ocean, you’ll be thrust into a fight for survival against a hostile world that forces you to confront the very nature of consciousness and what it truly means to be human.
