Silver Pines
Publisher Team17 and developer Wych Elm have announced Silver Pines, a new survival horror Metroidvania game set for release in 2026.

Players take on the role of private investigator Red Walker, who wakes up in Silver Pines, a town inspired by Twin Peaks. The place is half-abandoned and half-forgotten, lost in the middle of nowhere. Walker’s job is to find Eddie Velvet, a musician who has vanished. As the case begins to uncover a dark past, Walker soon falls into a strange and nightmarish descent beyond his control.

The developers describe Silver Pines as a “love letter” to classic survival horror games. Players will need to fight or avoid the horrors of the town as you scavenge for resources and solutions to the puzzles blocking your way.

Every locked door or hidden path could hide a clue, a resource, or something waiting in the dark. As players acquire new tools and weapons, more areas of the town become accessible.

While Silver Pines does not yet have an official release date, it is set to launch in 2026 on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
