Team17 and Swedish indie developer Wych Elm have released a new gameplay trailer for Silver Pines, a survival horror title with Metroidvania elements that is scheduled to launch in 2026 on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation.
In the game, players step into the role of private investigator Red Walker, who awakens in the strange and seemingly abandoned town of Silver Pines. As Walker begins investigating, a creeping sense of dread grows while fragments of the past start to surface as players begin unraveling the town’s sinister secrets.
The story begins with the disappearance of musician Eddie Velvet, a case that quickly turns into something far darker. What begins as a search for answers soon becomes a strange and nightmarish descent, as Walker uncovers disturbing truths connected to the town and its past.
The investigation unfolds as a tense journey where players must uncover hidden truths and face disturbing creatures while managing very limited resources. Every decision becomes important as players try to complete what may be the most important case of Walker’s career.
