Silent Hill f was met with quite the positive reception when it launched last year, becoming the fastest-selling game in the franchise’s history. It sold over a million copies just two days after launch. Not just that, the title has won multiple awards at the Game Awards and is still dominating the latest Famitsu Awards nominations.
While the title saw a massive shift from the franchise’s previous entries, and many doubted its future, Silent Hill f shattered expectations and prompted Konami to expand further with new projects. However, it appears the title isn’t done yet, and fans have more to look forward to.
Following the six-month anniversary of the title, the official social media account of Silent Hill has confirmed that a manga adaptation of Silent Hill f is already in the works. While the title already offers multiple endings, it has also been confirmed that the manga will offer an original ending written by Ryukishi07 for players who have already experienced the game’s endings.
The illustrations for the manga will be handled by artist Ame Gokin, who has already shared the very first image of protagonist Hinako, which shows her in pain and helplessness. Though not much has been shared, fans can expect to know more about the manga in the coming days.
