Sacred Line III Brings a Haunting Finale to the Sega Genesis Today

Sacred Line III

Retro horror fans have something interesting to look forward to this Halloween season. Sacred Line III, the final entry in the Sacred Line trilogy, releases digitally today, October 16, 2025, for the Sega Genesis.

Developed by Earth Incubator, Sacred Line III continues the story of Ellen and Sarah, two sisters caught in the chaos of war-torn Yugoslavia, besieged by demons summoned by an ancient cult. The narrative stretches across time, blending medieval 1366 and modern 1999, pulling players through elements of horror, mystery, and revelation as they uncover the truth behind the Sacred Line mythos.

The game features advanced 3D graphics, crafted in Unity and optimized for CRT screens, seeking to create a cinematic experience. A symphonic metal soundtrack, recorded with live synths, violin, and guitar, marks an ambitious undertaking for Sega’s classic console.
