Resident Evil Requiem Concept Video Shows Classic Fixed Camera Style

Resident Evil Requiem Fixed Camera

Resident Evil Requiem became a massive success for Capcom, selling over 6 million copies and becoming the fastest in the franchise to reach that milestone.

While the title remains popular, the modding community is also doing its job to keep the momentum going by releasing mods that improve, or customise many parts of the game. Some make the gameplay easier while others change the camera settings in a few clicks. However, the YouTube channel Enveloping Sounds has also released a new video showcasing how Resident Evil Requiem would look if played with the fixed camera angle.

If you have been a long-time fan of the Resident Evil franchise, you would already know that the original games used fixed cameras until the developers evolved gameplay over the years, changing to over the shoulder third- and first-person. However, many fans still miss the game’s older style.

The YouTuber released a concept video showing the game played at a fixed angle. They achieved the results using the free cam tool, and features part of the Grace gameplay in the title. Since most of Leon’s sections are action-oriented, it makes sense that the YouTuber didn’t show any Leon gameplay.

Notably, there is no mod at the moment that allows players to use fixed camera settings, but there are always options for the future.

The concept video for Resident Evil Requiem, played through fixed cameras, looks pretty cool. You can check out the full video below:
