Phasmophobia Sales Reach 25 Million Copies

Kinetic Games has announced new milestones for its co-op horror game, Phasmophobia, which has sold over 25 million copies since its release. This achievement is especially impressive considering that the game doesn’t rely on groundbreaking technical features or high-end graphics and has remained in early access since 2020.

Phasmophobia is currently available on PC with VR support, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. On Steam, the game boasts overwhelmingly positive reviews, with 95% of users recommending it. According to SteamDB, the game continues to attract significant interest, with as many as 20,000 players online simultaneously. The recent sale has further increased the number of players.

At the end of June, the developers released a major update for Phasmophobia called Chronicle, which adds new ways to collect evidence, such as through audio recordings, photos, and videos. The developers are also involved in a planned movie adaptation of the game, which is being produced by Blumhouse and Atomic Monster.

Until July 10, Phasmophobia is available on Steam with a 25% discount, priced at $14.99.

Today we’re excited to announce that #Phasmophobia has sold 25 MILLION copies across all platforms. Thank you, Ghost Hunters, for all your support from day one.
