As of last night, The Forest has received its second major patch, changing its game version to 0.03. The patch adds a bunch of fixes and improvements to existing components and mechanics, as well as some much needed additions like partially built structures being saved when the game is re-loaded.
The full changelog lists some other cool things like a new pedometer that tracks your characters steps, new effigies to ward of cannibals, and even a Vegan Mode setting that disables enemies all together.
I also highly recommend finding the cassette player as it has some kickin’ 80s tunes.
