According to Konami’s financial reports, Silent Hill f has been a great success. This has encouraged the publisher to consider expanding the series even more with new chapters, beyond the projects already announced.

Konami’s financial results for fiscal year 2026, covering the period from April 1st to September 30th, 2025, show one of the best performances in the company’s history, mainly driven by its Digital Entertainment Business division.

eFootball 2025 continues to perform well with over 900 million downloads. However, the report highlights that Silent Hill f achieved even greater success, significantly impacting the publisher’s financial performance.

Konami stated that Silent Hill f received an extremely positive reception and sold over one million copies within the first two days on the market. This marks a remarkable sales milestone, with results even better than Silent Hill 2. Thanks to this success, Konami plans to invest further in the Silent Hill franchise, beyond the titles already in development and previously announced.

Konami elaborated on these plans, saying:

We are also working on a remake of the first game in the SILENT HILL series as well as a new title, SILENT HILL: Townfall, with plans to develop this series further going forward. Konami will continue working to deliver titles in the Silent Hill series that will be loved by our fans around the world.

According to financial data, revenue increased by 22.1% compared to the previous year, while operating profits rose by 29%. Excellent results were reported in the gaming, amusement, and sports divisions.

Among other major releases, Konami also mentioned the launch of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. The Metal Gear series has now sold over 65.1 million units, while the Silent Hill franchise has surpassed 13 million copies sold worldwide.
