Kojima Productions has revealed OD with a new teaser trailer. The video, titled “Knock”, begins with the image of a red door with no handle. A card is slipped through the door. It looks like a tarot card, showing a monstrous face on one side and a message on the other: “light the fires to celebrate their…”
The scene then shifts to first-person gameplay. The main character, played by Sophia Lillis, explores a nearly empty apartment. She lights several candles, but soon hears a door creak open behind her. Terrified, she begins to shake. At the same time, a sound like a radiation detector grows louder, and strange burn-like marks appear on her face.
The presence behind her grows closer until it finally grabs her. She screams, and at that moment the teaser’s title appears. The trailer ends with a quick shot of her face caught between two giant hands.
The OD teaser trailer was released during the Beyond the Strand event, which is still underway and has featured several announcements about Hideo Kojima’s future projects.
