Psychological narrative aficionados Wired Productions just announced that they have inked a worldwide publishing deal with Separuh Interactive for the hotly anticipated slasher survival horror, AGNI: Village of Calamity.
Already building momentum for its authentic Indonesian setting, brutal cinematic horror, and unique lead protagonist Agni, the upcoming title reinforces Wired Productions’ focus on championing distinctive creative voices across horror, psychological storytelling, and mature narrative game.
To mark the occasion, Wired Productions has dropped a new trailer, featuring original music from its independent label Black Razor Records. The lead track ‘AGNI,’ which was written, produced, and performed entirely in-house, captures the intensity, dread and emotional weight of the world players are about to experience.
Regarding the game and their collaboration with Wired, Ardhan Fadhlurrahman, COO, Separuh Interactive said:
Our ambition with AGNI is to push the boundaries of Indonesian horror into the ‘New Weird’ space, creating a psychological thriller that challenges the player’s perception of reality. We are proud to work alongside Wired Productions, whose commitment to championing creative visionaries makes them the ideal partner to share our passion for authentic Indonesian storytelling with a worldwide audience.
AGNI: Village of Calamity is a cinematic survival horror title, combining mind-bending terror and ritual strangeness with Indonesian slasher-style violence.
In the game you play as Agni, an investigator from a secret agency, driven by regret, who disobeys the rules, as she searches for her missing partner inside the forbidden village of Desa Purba. On her rogue mission, Agni descends deeper into violence, obsession, and psychological collapse as the guilt drives her towards the edge of what the human mind can live through.
AGNI: Village of Calamity is set to be released on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, XBOX Series SIX, and PlayStation 5, with more formats to be announced soon.
