The Blood of Dawnwalker was initially announced in early 2025 as an action role-playing game by Rebel Wolves and published by Bandai Namco. Earlier this year, however, the developer confirmed that the title will launch on September 3 instead.
With the release just over a week away, the studio has put out its launch trailer during the Gamescom Opening Night Live presentation. Nearly two minutes long, the trailer focuses heavily on the game’s dark vampire horror atmosphere, featuring several unsettling characters and gruesome moments.
It also offers a great look at Dawnwalker‘s combat, exploration, and Coen’s encounters with the vampires. The trailer further highlights Coen’s struggle between his human and vampire sides, giving us a better look at the challenges he’ll face throughout the story. Rebel Wolves reiterates the September release date, confirming that the game remains on track to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and on PC via Steam.
The Blood of Dawnwalker is currently available for pre-order, with the “Sangoran Wayfarer’s Armor Set” offered as a bonus for players who do so. Bandai confirms there will be four editions available: Standard, Eclipse, and Collector’s editions, with Standard including the base game, while the others come with additional perks and bonuses. .
