‘FEED IT’ Turns Living With a Monster Into Pure Psychological Horror

FEED IT

FEED IT is a first-person, PSX-style horror game announced as a debut game by developer Games On A Chair and published by Pretty Soon. The title draws inspiration from games like classic Silent Hill, Mouthwashing, and other psychological horror games that focus more on discomfort and emotional pressure than on simple jump scares.

The game offers a very short-form horror experience and lets you play as someone who’s trapped in a strange house with a monster that controls your life. The main task in the title is as simple as it could be, find the food and feed it to the creature before it gets angry, but the deeper you go, the more it starts to discomfort you.

The house starts to behave like a maze; the rooms begin to differ, and players will have to take notes to avoid slipping into reality. The monster’s hunger also becomes more aggressive over time, constantly forcing the players to decide whether to feed it or eat it themselves.

Every action in FEED IT has consequences, and those choices lead to different endings and secret paths in the title. Though it offers a short experience, it has been designed for replayability, with different endings. FEED IT has no release date at the moment, but the players can wishlist it on Steam.
