AJ Thompson, known as “The Gaming Muse,” has just announced the upcoming release of a set of two books titled History of Silent Hill. The first book focuses on KCET and is based on a previously self-published work, while the second book covers the Western-developed games up to SH: Downpour and includes some details about P.T.
These books will be published by Taylor & Francis and are set to be released simultaneously, with a publication window anticipated between late 2026 and early 2027. The set will feature new information, along with edits and improvements. The Gaming Muse also plans to promote this project on their YouTube channel and hopes to collaborate with vocal developers in the community, such as Ito Masahiro and Tsuboyama Masashi, to help promote the project and possibly have discussions with them.
