Dreadwoods Gatekeeper Returns After Two Years With Fresh Gameplay

Dreadwoods Gatekeeper

Dreadwoods Gatekeeper first debuted in 2024 with an announcement trailer, but Serbian developer Raw Tale Games has since stayed quiet about the game’s development. Now, two years later, the developer has finally released a new gameplay trailer that gives players a fresh look at what to expect from the title.

Alongside the trailer, Raw Tale Games has rebranded the Steam page, added new screenshots, and shared a new dev diary that dives deeper into the game’s development. The developer also confirmed that they have spent nearly two years working full-time on Dreadwoods Gatekeeper. They created a demo nearly eight months ago but later scrapped it because they weren’t satisfied with its quality. Since then, Raw Tale has redesigned the game and now feels much more confident in its current state.

Raw Tale Games will begin alpha testing through its Discord community before releasing a public demo, which is currently targeted for two to three months from now. With development moving forward, we should finally start hearing more about the title.

While Dreadwoods Gatekeeper still doesn’t have a release date, players can wishlist it on Steam, and watch the full trailer below.
