Days Gone Announces A New Game Plus Mode

Days Gone New Game Plus

Sony and Bend Studio have announced a new free update for Days Gone. Among its main novelties is the debut of the New Game Plus mode (commonly called NG+), as well as new difficulty options and unlockable trophies. This will all be available starting later beginning September 13.

As you can imagine, New Game Plus will allow you to relive the adventure from scratch, while keeping practically all of your previous enhancements like weapons, bike upgrades, NERO boosters, skills, recipes, encampment trust and credits, collectibles, and your trophy progress. This will definitely make your next Days Gone adventure different and interesting.

You can convert any finished game into a New Game Plus mode, and it is also possible to experience this mode in easy, normal, hard, and survival, or in the new difficulty modes called ‘Hard 2’ and ‘Survival 2’. The new difficulty settings also feature their own trophies, one of them linked to a new weapon belonging to an agent who operates in the shadows.

If you don’t have the game in your library yet and you’re curious, I recommend you give it a try. If you already have it and consider yourself an unconditional fan, you may want to know that Mondo has announced a physical release of the soundtrack on vinyl containing 25 tracks. Preordering begins on September 11 on the official website.
