Danganronpa: Goodbye Despair, the second entry in this f’d up visual novel series, is set to hit Steam on April 18th. For $29.99, buyers who pre-order starting April 4 and purchase at launch will additionally get a mini-OST. As with the first game before it, it will have Steam trading cards, achievements and cloud support.
Spike Chunsoft promised a quick release of the second Danganronpa, and they delivered. Danganronpa 2 features more varied 3D environments over its predecessor, so that should allow for a prettier-looking game. Whether or not the port will have higher-res assets used for its PC debut is hard to determine based on the few screenshots released.
Here’s hoping we hear more from Spike Chunsoft on future ports.
