Cronos: The New Dawn Is Getting an “Easy Mode” Next Week

Cronos: The New Dawn

Cronos: The New Dawn was released in the first week of September last year by the developers Bloober Team. The game received a positive reception, selling over 500k units in just two months.

The game’s difficulty continued to be a major concern for players, leading many to ask for an easier mode. Just before the end of 2025, the developers released a YouTube video confirming that they had received this feedback and were actively working on an easy mode patch for the game.

After much anticipation, Bloober Team has tweeted that “Temporal Diver Mode,” which provides easier difficulty options for players, will be available next week. The team also confirmed that they are in the final stretch before launching the update, and noted that the release time may vary across different platforms. If you missed out on the game before or couldn’t really enjoy it because of the difficulty, this might be the best time for you to get back in Cronos: The New Dawn.

While the idea of introducing an easy mode after a game’s launch may seem surprising, Cronos: The New Dawn isn’t the only title to adopt this feature. Recently, Silent Hill f received an update that added a casual mode, allowing players to enjoy an easier gameplay experience. It’s encouraging to see developers listening to their fans and responding to requests even after a game has been released.

In other news, Bloober Team is currently working on a remake of Silent Hill 1, although there is no release date announced yet.
