Indie Horror ‘Crabmeat’ Challenges Players to Meet the Quota in Spring

Crabmeat

Among many exciting indie titles releasing later this year, one of them is Crabmeat, which is slated for release in less than a week. The title is being developed by Nicholas McDonnell and Mitchell Pasmans, and published by Searching Interactive.

According to the developers, this indie title will take around 2-3 hours to complete, but even in such a limited time, Crabmeat will let you experience fishing, survival, and horror. Therefore, it is not a title you would want to miss if you enjoy playing indies or are a fan of survival horror.

Crabmeat

The game’s story is pretty straightforward. You play as a prisoner who owes a big debt to the government. To repay the debt, you are forced to work on a crab-fishing boat in the Antarctic Ocean. You will be given 7 days to catch the most valuable crabs, and if you fail to meet the quota, you and your family will be exiled.

While catching valuable crabs, you will have to defend yourself from the strange creatures inside the ocean, set traps to easily catch the crabs and also maintain the ship. The demo is currently available if you are still unsure about giving it a try.

Crabmeat will officially be out on March 10 on Steam. The release date reveal trailer was shared recently, which you can check out below.
