CONTROL Resonant Goes Gold as Physical Edition Faces a Delay

CONTROL Resonant

CONTROL Resonant has officially gone gold. Remedy Entertainment announced the news through the game’s official Twitter/X account, confirming development has reached an important milestone ahead of launch.

The term “gold” refers to the point when a complete version of the game is finished and considered ready for distribution, although developers can still continue working on updates and fixes.

The news confirms that work is moving forward as planned, ahead of the release set for September 24.

In the new chapter of the series, players will take on the role of Dylan Faden, who will have to use his paranormal abilities in a deeply distorted Manhattan.

As for the physical version, there is now an update on its release date. Remedy has confirmed that the disc edition will be available from October 15, a few weeks after the game’s digital launch on September 24.

The studio explained that it needs “a little more time” to deliver the physical version to players, without giving any further details about the reason for the delay.

The delay therefore only affects the physical edition and does not change the game’s release date, which remains set for September 24. CONTROL Resonant will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
