I remember I posted an April Fool’s joke that involved Clementine and the next season of The Walking Dead (both the Telltale Games series and the AMC series). I’m sorry. So in the hopes that you will continue to believe me, for real this time, that Clementine will make a return to the series in The Walking Dead‘s second season.
Anyone who’s actually played the first season will think this is a gimme. But will she become the new protagonist? Has her time spent with Lee made her an apocalypse readied little warrior? Or will she still be an innocent little girl who will be defended by a new protagonist? Where will she end up? All that we know right now is that she will “most definitely” be in the second season.
Have you played The Walking Dead yet? It’s on sale during the Steam Summer Getaway sale for less than $7. I say this because there’s spoilers ahead, so don’t read the next paragraph if you haven’t yet played The Walking Dead.
I say these things because the fate of Kenny will be “explored.” Now depending on your play through, the choices you made in season one, Kenny either didn’t come with you in the end, perished helping Ben, or getting Clementine’s radio (so I hear – in my play through he helped Ben from becoming a walker. I had always assumed that he had died at this point and then cried my eyes out after Lee said that they were both gone. However upon reflection, I never heard a second gunshot, and I never heard the typical eaten by a zombie noises. So it will be interesting to see what actually happened to him.
That’s all the news there is so far on Season 2. If you haven’t picked up The Walking Dead yet, you probably should – there’s really not going to be a better time to try it. Unless you’re waiting for the Playstation Vita version to come out. I guess.
