Focus Home Interactive’s Call of Cthulhu game is headed to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 30th. Based on Chaosium’s pen and paper RPG, this particular Call of Cthulhu shouldn’t be confused with Dark Corners of the Earth, but it will hopefully be a worthy successor.
Call of Cthulhu is set in 1920s Boston, where players take the role of former war veteran and private investigator, Edward Pierce. His latest job takes him to the island of Darkwater, in search of answers regarding the deaths of the Hawkins family. The game dances with strong psychological horror themes and Lovecraftian lore.
Let’s see how many other horror games will join Call of Cthulhu for Halloween this year!
