Panache Digital Games has officially confirmed that its upcoming action-adventure game, 1666: Amsterdam, will launch into Early Access on Steam and the Epic Games Store on August 25. It is being developed by the studio of Patrice Désilets, the creator and former creative director behind Assassin’s Creed.
1666: Amsterdam is a 3rd person dark, story-driven, action-adventure title where Noa, the Collector, wields witchcraft to uncover demonic entities hiding behind human faces.
The upcoming game was finally revealed to fans during the recent Summer Game Fest with a brand-new trailer, following a long period without any news about the title. The developers also released a playable prologue on the same day. Now, the team has confirmed that the game will enter Early Access later this month.
The Early Access version will be available for $29.99. The Early Access launch will give players their first extended look at the game’s world, story, combat, and supernatural gameplay mechanics. It will include the first part of the campaign, which is expected to take approximately 15 hours to complete. The team plans to keep the title in Early Access for at least a year, with multiple major updates adding new content at regular intervals.
