While players still have many mysteries to uncover about Resident Evil Requiem, discussions have already begun about the possibility of a DLC to the story. This info was revealed by Dusk Golem, a well-known insider and leaker who has been covering Capcom titles and horror games for years.
According to what Dusk Golem shared on X (formerly Twitter), Capcom is reportedly already working on a DLC for Resident Evil Requiem.
He said:
There’s definitely at least one DLC for Resident Evil Requiem in development right now. I’ve heard about it a few times, believe it stars Alyssa.
Moreover, according to Dusk Golem, the DLC could feature Alyssa as the main character. No further details about this content are currently known, and it’s possible that any information about the DLC could spoil major story twists. For this reason, it seems unlikely that Capcom will reveal its post-launch plans before Requiem is officially released.
While fans wait for more news about the base version of the game—likely coming soon—Capcom has recently confirmed that Resident Evil Requiem will not have a playable demo, unlike the most recent entries in the series.
In other Resident Evil news, a new 4K texture mod for Resident Evil 5 doubles the game’s size and greatly improves visuals, making it feel like a full remaster on PC.
