NightCry on PC will be available in just seven days, and today the studios behind its creation have announced its price: $24.99. Special editions which include a digital soundtrack, art book set, and art “contents” set are priced from $39.99 to $59.99. A new trailer has released, but it’s the same one I shared yesterday from the backer update.
Interestingly, film director Sam Raimi (The Evil Dead, Spider-Man) has been quoted stating how much he’s a fan of NightCry. I take it his ties to Takashi Shimizu (The Grudge director and NightCry‘s co-creator) led to this. His quote is below:
“Takashi Shimizu’s NightCry is the type of experience that makes you sleep with the lights on: a killer premise supplemented by fantastic visuals. Knowing the great work being done in video games today, I can’t wait to be fully immersed in this seafaring horror.”
Nice words from a big name. Hopefully his endorsement means NightCry will be more enjoyable than it seems.
