The Occultist Gets Release Date, Launching This Spring

The Occultist Gets Release Date, Launching April 8

Developer Daloar and publisher Daedalic Entertainment have announced the release date for The Occultist, a first-person horror adventure focused on paranormal investigation.

The game will launch on April 8 with a price of $29.99 on PC, Xbox and PlayStation. A Deluxe Edition will also be available for $39.99, which includes a 200-page digital art book.

The game was delayed last year, but it reappeared in October with a gameplay trailer that showed more of its dark atmosphere. Now, the developers have finally confirmed its official release date.

The Occultist is a psychological horror adventure where players take the role of Alan Rebels, a paranormal investigator. He travels to a mysterious location to investigate a complex and personal case.

The story takes place on the island of Godstone, a place believed to be cursed. Alan’s goal is to uncover the truth behind the disappearance of his father while exploring the secrets hidden on the island.

The gameplay mixes exploration, stealth elements, and puzzle solving. Players will face a tense atmosphere as dark threats hide throughout the island.

Alan carries a mystical pendulum that allows him to interact with the environment, change certain elements, and reveal hidden secrets. Using this tool, players will explore foggy streets and old ruins while learning about the dark past of a cult that once lived on the island.
