Abylight Studios and Frictional Games are collaborating to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of SOMA with an exclusive Collector’s Edition and physical edition for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. Fans will have the opportunity to experience the sci-fi horror game in a special limited edition, packed with bonus content, exclusive via Kickstarter.
SOMA is widely considered a masterpiece of psychological horror. In our review of the game, we awarded it an outstanding 9.5/10. Originally released for PC in 2015, it now arrives on Nintendo’s consoles in a complete and optimized version, ensuring it gets the maximum performance from the system.
SOMA 10th Anniversary Collector’s Edition includes:
- 16 GB cart containing full SOMA game for Nintendo Switch, Switch 2 compatible. No further downloads needed. Switch 2 version includes improved resolution, more stable refresh rate, better textures, higher detail level and reduced loading times.
- Reversible Cover with alternate artwork.
- Original Art Book. An exclusive 88-page color artbook (255×170 mm). Uncover the original concept art and models that helped create the terrifying world of SOMA in a deluxe edition.
- Omnitool Keychain. A metallic miniature model of the device used in the game. Size: 34.6 x 60 mm with 5 enamel colors and printed screen.

In addition to the Collector’s Edition, a regular physical edition of SOMA will be available for the Switch and Switch 2. This is the first time the game is released on physical format.
