Publisher Konami and developer Neobards Entertainment have released update version 1.10 for Silent Hill f.
The patch introduces a new Casual difficulty setting, designed for players who just want to follow the story. The update also allows skipping some parts of New Game+. In addition, many bugs and issues have been fixed.
The Casual difficulty can be selected from the main menu when starting a new game or from a New Game+ save. For players already using Story mode or higher, the Casual action difficulty will be selectable upon reaching the Game Over screen multiple times.
For New Game+, once you complete the “Go through the door” objective (after solving the mural puzzle), you can skip directly to a later scene. However, when skipping sections, you won’t collect items in those parts, and trophies like “Thankful to Be Here”, “Grateful for a Worthy Foe”, and “Clear Skies” cannot be unlocked. The story branches and endings remain unchanged.
Other updates include a motion blur option for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions, slightly faster stamina regeneration for the main character Hinako, fewer mandatory combat encounters, fewer enemies in some areas, and reduced damage at Hard difficulty.
