Konami has pulled back the curtain on Silent Hill f once again, this time during Gamescom 2025, and the new trailer is as unnerving as fans hoped. Alongside a fresh glimpse at its nightmare-soaked world, we finally have confirmation of the English voice cast, headlined by Suzie Yeung as protagonist Hinako Shimizu.
Yeung, known also for being the voice of Yuffie in Final Fantasy VII Remake, brings an expressive vulnerability to Hinako, a teenager whose fragile sense of self is tested against the eerie streets of Ebisugaoka. Konatsu Kato still voices the character in Japanese, creating a duality for Hinako that seeks to emphasize the game’s haunting atmosphere. Hearing Yeung deliver lines like, “You saved my life and laid claim to my soul…” adds an emotional gravity that sticks with you long after the trailer ends.
Visually, Silent Hill f continues to stand out. The fog-blanketed alleys, masked figures, and surreal distortions of everyday life paint a portrait of dread that feels as delicate as it is grotesque. It’s clear Konami isn’t just reviving Silent Hill, they’re reimagining how psychological horror can be delivered to a modern audience.
With its release date set for September 25 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, this latest trailer proves that Silent Hill f is a bold new redefining of the franchise’s identity.
With Yeung anchoring the English cast, the game’s international reach feels more assured. You can view the new Gamescom trailer for the game below, and continue to follow us for coverage on all things Silent Hill.
