Konami announced that Silent Hill f has sold over one million copies worldwide, making it the fastest-selling game in the history of the series. The figure includes both physical and digital sales as of September 27, 2025. The game reached this milestone just a few days after release, showing strong interest in the new title.

It’s worth noting that this sales milestone was achieved faster than the recent Silent Hill 2 remake. While the remake sold one million copies in about a week, Silent Hill f reached the same number in just two days!
The Silent Hill series has been enjoying a Renaissance of sorts in the last two years ever since the SH2 remake brought the series back from the dead and rekindled hope for fans.
One of the game’s most notable aspects is its narrative, written by Ryukishi07, which is described as “beautiful yet horrifying.” Leaning heavily on the traditions of Japanese horror, the game creates a chilling and distinctive Eastern-focused atmosphere that sets it apart from earlier Silent Hill titles.
