As we approach the launch of Resident Evil Requiem, Capcom has been releasing more information about the title to build excitement
During the recent Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase, the developers unveiled two new amiibo figures based on the main characters from Resident Evil Requiem. One figure depicts Leon S. Kennedy, who is clad in black tactical gear and armed with a hatchet. The other figure showcases Grace Ashcroft, sporting a brown leather jacket and carrying a black backpack.
Both of them are as detailed as anyone would expect, but they aren’t only going to make your shelves look great. However, they do offer in-game rewards when scanned on the Switch 2 Pro controllers.
Capcom has confirmed that players will receive a neon-style gun for Leon. While Capcom hasn’t revealed Grace’s amiibo reward yet, fans expect the developers to share details in the coming weeks. Both Amiibos will be available for players to collect in the summer, so they have more to look forward to after the February 27th release of the game.
Resident Evil Requiem appears to be a solid release for the franchise, as the developers have recently confirmed that it will feature the most unpredictable zombies in the franchise’s history, bringing more excitement to its launch. The director has also claimed that they won’t be repeating past multi-protagonist mistakes, and fans can finally trust them with the latest launch.
Nonetheless, if you are planning to play the title on launch day and want to catch up on the series lore, we’ve made a list of the games you need to play before understanding Resident Evil Requiem without any complications.
