Resident Evil Survival Unit, the new mobile strategy game distributed by Aniplex and developed with JOYCITY, has surpassed one million downloads worldwide just days after its launch on Tuesday, making it one of the most successful mobile releases in the Resident Evil universe.
The game debuted at the top of the charts, reaching #1 on the free App Store rankings in more than 15 countries and regions — including Japan, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany — and #2 among all free apps in the United States. It is currently available in 151 countries and regions, with more expected to be added soon.
To celebrate this major milestone, all players will receive a special in-game reward. By entering the promo code “1M SURVIVORS” on the official rewards website, players can claim their prize.
Based on Capcom’s legendary Resident Evil series, Survival Unit offers a real-time strategy experience designed specifically for mobile devices. It combines management, combat, and exploration: players must rebuild their base starting from a ruined mansion, assign survivors according to their skills, defend against waves of enemies, and much more.
Classic characters like Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield, and Jill Valentine join the player in a brand-new story within the franchise, where every decision affects the outcome of the mission and the evolution of the server.
