‘Out Fishing’ Demo Set to Deliver Chilling Lake Horror on March 18

Out Fishing was first announced in June of last year by developers Mūn Mūn Games. While it still doesn’t have an exact release date, the developers have just confirmed a demo for the game, which releases later this month.

While many were expecting to see the title at the Steam Next Fest, the team has just released a never-before-seen gameplay trailer for Out Fishing, confirming the 18th March date for the demo release, along with a 50-second trailer that lets you take a better look at the title.

The game has a simple, yet intriguing story where the player goes on a peaceful fishing trip to a quiet lake and everything seems fine, with calm water and a cabin. The player spends time exploring and catching fish. Soon after, strange things begin to happen, making the player feel like he is not alone there.

While it was already clear that the trailer would carry a dark tone, the latest footage makes this more apparent by showcasing glimpses of a darker, more isolated environment, making the demo worth playing to truly experience the unease.

Out Fishing is currently available to wishlist on Steam. Although it is likely targeting a release later this year, an official launch date has yet to be announced.
