FBC: Firebreak Drops June 17th — Here’s Everything You Need to Know

FBC: Firebreak

Remedy Entertainment is gearing up for its next big chapter, and no, it’s not Alan Wake 3 (yet). During today’s developer livestream, the studio officially announced that FBC: Firebreak, its upcoming three-player co-op shooter set in the Control universe, will launch worldwide on June 17th, 2025. Yes, that means you’re heading back into the oldest house, but this time, you’re not going in alone.

FBC: Firebreak marks a milestone for Remedy as its first self-published title, dropping on PC (Steam and Epic), PS5, and Xbox Series X|S for $39.99. It’ll also be available Day One on PC Game Pass, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, and the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog (Extra and Premium).

In the livestream, Remedy gave fans a good look at “Hot Fix,” one of the game’s mission-like Jobs, complete with new in-world weirdness, fan-favorite chaos (yes, Sticky Ricky is back), and live developer commentary.

For those looking to flex a little extra Bureau style, the Deluxe Edition was also revealed. For $49.99, you’ll unlock premium cosmetics, voice packs, and a hefty “Firestarter” Classified Requisition that bundles 36 unlockable items like skins, sprays, and armor sets. Already buying the base game? You can upgrade later for $10.

Remedy also outlined its Requisitions system, a player-friendly approach to customization where all unlockables — whether earned in-game or bought — stick around permanently. No rotating shops. No FOMO. Just gear you can earn by actually playing the game.

Even better: all post-launch content, including new Jobs (missions), will be completely free. Two new Jobs are already slated to drop later in 2025, with more updates promised into 2026.

FBC: Firebreak is available to wishlist now, and whether you’re here for the supernatural firefights or just want to hear your agent scream “Firestarter!” in style, you can continue to rely on us for coverage on all things Remedy Entertainment.
