Many fans have been waiting for this moment. Behaviour Interactive is finally adding Five Nights at Freddy’s to Dead by Daylight, and yes, it will feature the voice of Matthew Lillard.
During the Dead by Daylight presentation at PAX East, the studio revealed what will be coming to the game as it approaches its ninth anniversary. Freddy Fazbear and his pizza place full of animatronics are at the center of Behaviour’s plans for this year’s anniversary chapter, which is expected to launch in June.
Lillard, who played William Afton in the 2023 Five Nights at Freddy’s movie, is once again bringing the character to life. He will lend his voice and likeness to Dead by Daylight for the killer, Springtrap.
This evil animatronic bunny, also known as Yellow Rabbit or Spring Bonnie, will also be available as a legendary outfit when the collection is released.
Behaviour considers Five Nights at Freddy’s to be the “most requested license in Dead by Daylight history,” so fans will be excited to know that the content will also include a map of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, which is said to be full of surprises and easter eggs.
There’s no set release date for this collaboration yet, but more details are expected soon.
