Dark Souls 2 comes to PC on April 25th

Seemly out of nowhere, Namco Bandai has put Dark Souls 2 up on Steam for pre-purchase. Not only that, but they’ve also announced the release date for the PC version as well. The PC version of Dark Souls 2 will be coming out on April 25th!

To top off all this great news, the system requirements for the game were also released

Minimum: 

  • OS: Windows XP SP3, Vista SP2, Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8
  • Processor: AMD® Phenom II™ X2 555 3.2Ghz or Intel® Pentium Core ™ 2 Duo E8500 3.17Ghz

  • Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® 9600GT, ATI Radeon™ HD 5870

  • Network: Broadband Internet connection

The burning question is whether or not this version of this version of the game will be a better port to the PC than the first was. Though, From Software has stated from the beginning that the PC version is the lead development platform.
