Even years after the original debut, BloodRayne continues to occupy a unique space in horror gaming, and now, Rayne is getting the kind of sendoff longtime fans have been waiting for.
The BloodRayne: Definitive Collection has officially been announced, bundling the franchise’s three core entries into a single, modernized package built for current hardware.
Published by Strictly Limited in collaboration with Ziggurat Interactive, this new release brings together BloodRayne: Terminal Cut, BloodRayne 2: Terminal Cut, and BloodRayne Betrayal: Fresh Bites, offering what is easily the most complete version of the dhampir anti-hero’s story to date.
Across the trilogy, players once again step into the role of Rayne, a half-human, half-vampire operative working for the Brimstone Society as she cuts a violent path through occult threats, monstrous enemies, and her own bloodline.
The collection stands out not just due to the convenience of having all three Rayne titles in one place, but the attention given to bringing them up to modern standards. Newly implemented patches seek to improve performance and stability, alongside upgraded visuals, enhanced textures, and quality-of-life improvements that will hopefully make revisiting these cult classics feel far less dated.
Two physical editions will be available. The Limited Edition includes all three games on disc or cartridge along with a printed manual, while the Deluxe Edition leans heavily into collector appeal, adding an artbook, soundtrack CD, poster, and other extras designed to celebrate the series’ legacy.
Pre-orders open today, March 26, 2026, and will remain available until May 3, ahead of a planned July 29 release on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. For fans of action-heavy horror with a sharp edge, this is shaping up to be the definitive way to experience BloodRayne.
