Resident Evil Revelations: Chris & Jessica’s Snow Blinded Horror ONM Scans

Up until now, we have only been seeing Jill Valentine’s and Parker Luciani’s view on things in Resident Evil Revelations, taking place on a Cruise Ship in the middle of the stormy sea. At the end of the E3 2011 trailer we got a tease of another side of the story players will get to experience, and the beans have finally been spilled in the newest issue of ONM magazine (September 2011 issue 72). The scans come from our English friend, Shadzter, and tell a lot about this new element of the game, including new plot details, enemies (like dogs), and environmental hazards. Read the scans by clicking the images on the gallery below, and be sure to check out the full ONM magazine on stands now:

Cheesy dialogue and original Resident Evil horror? I cannot wait until 2012.

  • Elyssa

Hell yeah, finally some more news on this game! Can’t wait to get this! Pretty much my ONLY reason for purchasing a 3DS.

  • Shaheen

Stunning it keeps getting better and better can’t wait till Tokyo Game Show for a new glimpse. About time a proper RE game on the 3DS though it’s ashame the 3DS screen is small…

RE6? Wonder if It will follow back to it’s original roots.

Hope they dont cut half its content.

I mean RE5 was said to include heat meter which could cause hallucinations and weather effect that would affect visual and aiming, none was in it in the end.

I think if it still had been in it would have been good part of the survival aspect but also made it stand out more from its predecessor RE4.

Iam gonna sit quite and watch this time last time me and many others was so thrilled about RE5 future gameplay only to have it cut out entirly.

I wait til realese to actually see what still in the game then.

“I mean RE5 was said to include heat meter which could cause hallucinations and weather effect that would affect visual and aiming, none was in it in the end.”

IIRC, that was a typo or a misunderstanding from some guys that sadly spreaded.

  • Henrik

Not the heat system, cus capcom themself said they scrapped it one thing to hard to implant and they thought it would take away the focus from the action.

Sadly,I thought it would have been an interesting part of the survival aspect.

Nontheless when I saw that dog pic above maybe in combination of the harsh cold envieroment it made me think of the movie the thing.

I wonder if Chris and Jessica will face some the thing inspired type of enemies.

Off topic will see the thing prequel because I like Mary elizabeth winsted so much.

What I read about RE6. Redeem? That hurts. Don’t listen to these fucks Capcom, stay true to your own, as you have always done! Don’t change it into a FPS like these bastards want! Keep the tank controls! That’s what makes RE RE! Dead Space whas indeed a fine game, but definitely NOT Capcom! I’ve played all Resi-games to death! Just finishing RE5 for the 10th time, this time with Sheva. That’s saying something. Please Capcom, no move while aiming and no strafing! Not more than you intend to do with Revelations. Love the demo, keep playing it. Keep it that way please. I’m a Capcom-nut for more than 20 years now. Stay Capcom please. I love you.
