Horror indie game The Hum has just had its second trailer drop from developer Thotwise Games, and it’s all about the story.
The Hum is a game about the aftermath of an alien invasion, and players take the role of one of the last remaining survivors in a city where everyone else has been either killed or taken. The trailer shows off the game’s in-progress environments and visuals, developed in Unreal Engine 4.
The game is said to be making its way to Steam Q4 2014. I’m looking forward to seeing this The Hum‘s progress as it adds an interesting spin on the tired formula of first person explorative horror games about spooky things. It’s got aliens and that opens up some interest avenues to explore, in terms of story and how the developers aim to scare players.
