The Cat Lady gets a demo

After a bout of silence, Harvester Games has released a demo for their obscure horror game, The Cat Lady. The game features a unique art style and looks to play like a classic side scrolling adventure. It is set to release on October 31st for the PC.

Living up to its art, The Cat Lady promises a depressing, psychological storyline about a borderline suicidal woman. Centering around Susan Ashworth as she takes a journey between the world of the living and the world of the dead.

The game and its soundtrack are available for pre-order over on its website. The demo is also available to download there for free. Give it a shot.

I wouldn’t put my worst enemy through that demo.
    Very, very bad.

I found the game to be fun and interesting. Certainly not for people that want action and dismemberment. But a good point and click with a horror theme.

Right now it’s definitely not worth how much they’re going to charge. I’d pay like $1 at most. The animations are very bad and it gives the whole game an amateur-ish feel. If they improved the animation I might pay up to $4 for a game like that. It’s nice to play a horror game that doesn’t turn into a generic shooter.
