Telltale’s The Walking Dead Ep.1 coming to iOS devices on Thursday

Episode #1 of TellTale’s amazing The Walking Dead series will be coming to iOS devices this Sunday. I didn’t even know this was a thing! The episode will be compatible with fourth generation iPods and younger, the iPad 2, iPad 3, iPhone 4, and the iPhone 4S.

The iOS version of The Walking Dead, ‘A New Day’ will be specially deigned for touch screen devices and follow the same pricing plan as its PC and console counterpart. The game will be $4.99 come this Thursday. And of course the iOS version will carry your unique player choices into upcoming episodes. Telltale states that news on the second episode will be coming soon with as it is currently undergoing “special development touches”.

    I was excited at first, but seeing as it’s the same price as the Xbox version (per episode) I’m gonna have to pass.

        Yeah, but it’s on a mobile device and not a giant TV and a much stronger system

          I don’t agree that it should be cheaper just because of the platform. It seems to have suffered no compromises, and I feel $5 is a great price for the chapter.

            I mean I like the game and all, but I can’t justify spending $25 on the whole game on my iOS when I’m paying the same thing on the Xbox. Maybe it’s just because I already have it on the Xbox that I don’t want to pay that much more it again on another device. But like I said, it is a good game and I’m glad to see it making its way onto other devices so more people can enjoy it.
