A few days ago, game composer Mick Gordon released the first part of his internal look at creating the soundtrack for the newly released DOOM. Speaking about the tough task at hand for inheriting the legacy of the two decade-old game, he covers the classic E1M1 track in this first episode. You can check it out below with more coming on the way. The soundtrack has already been making the rounds across Youtube with an official album release in the future.

Mick Gordon has been composing video game music for the last decade and was recently behind the soundtracks for titles such as Wolfenstein: The Old Blood and Killer Instinct (2013).
