Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City releases on March 20th

Capcom has just announced that Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City will drop on March 20th. Capcom seems to like March; Resident Evil 5 released on March 13th in 2009. The four player co-op shooter will also release on PC but at a later date.

Capcom has also revealed that participating retailers (Amazon, Best Buy, Gamestop) will have preorder costumes available as well as two unique bonus weapons per outlet. A Special Edition with a steelcase, art, Umbrella Special Forces patch, Spec Ops patch, and all 8 bonus weapons has also been announced with an undisclosed price.

Now let’s see what else Capcom has up their sleeve regarding the Resident Evil series. We’re still hoping for a beta.

    Way to far… lost interest!

Well this is technically a smart move on Capcoms part, because Revelations is coming out on Feb. if I’m correct so the fans can try out the classic survival horror gameplay. Then when March comes we can play that because we would settle down over it and try this out.

Yeah Revelations shouldn’t really be a prob with the release date since it is only for the 3DS while OPC is for the Xbox 360/PS3.

Also costumes? They should’ve sold original RE costumes before Halloween, I would’ve love to dress like Claire (RE2) or Jill (REmake/RE3).
